Here&#8217;s what you can expect from attending one of our tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8211; a day spent with a group of friendly and like-minded people<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; fresh air and a good physical workout<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; interesting locations in and around Congleton that you&#8217;ve probably never visited before<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; the satisfaction of having made a contribution to the preservation of the local environment<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; learn about the use of different tools and techniques that you may find useful elsewhere<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; and most of all, plenty of fun!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Is this right for you?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0&#8211; membership is free, all you have to do is get yourself to the task location (shared lifts often available)<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; we meet every other Sunday from 10.00 till late afternoon, weather depending\u00a0&#8211; no skill or knowledge is required as training will be provided<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; you don&#8217;t have to be super fit, just reasonably active<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; you don&#8217;t need to bring any tools &#8211; everything is provided<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; there is no age limit but if you are under 18 you must be accompanied by a responsible adult<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; all you have to bring is suitable clothing, waterproof footware, packed lunch and refreshments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re not sure, why not just come for a taster session. If it&#8217;s not for you, we&#8217;ll quite understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are a very relaxed group with no rules or regulations. We only ask that you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8211; respect the Covid rules that we insist on<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; work in a way that does not endanger any other group members<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; take instruction from us in the use of any tools that you are not familiar with<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To join us, just email us on info@cdcv.org.uk and we&#8217;ll be pleased to see you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why not join our group?
